Vavi’s apology: NOT ACCEPTED

Ok it is not the first time that South Africa encounters high profile people being accused of Raping. Starting from our current president Jacob Zuma, his case was different though because everyone was convinced that the whole rape saga was political, and he won the case and became the president of the country, Makhaya Ntini was accused of raping a 22 year old student and the last saga was our current sport minister Fikile Mbalula, he got away with it and ANC forgave him, and he’s still the minister of sport.
It wasn’t long ago, Vavi was threatened, and some people wanted him dead, now this. I personally think that this dude should leave politics and start his own business or something, I don’t know. This can get really ugly. We know what happens when you disagree with ANC, within a year after the disagreement, your whole life is auctioned; ask Malema if you think I’m joking.

My fear about the whole continuously rape saga in South Africa is that, we ‘women’ are in a big risk, it will be very difficult to be believed when something happened, the system will question every rape tale and most of the victims will end up not reporting it. I am not saying it is ok for high profile people to take advantage of the ordinary citizens, that is not ok, but it is also important that we as people we do not take advantage of them, just because we want their money, that may really not affect them, but it will eventually affect young girls around the country. So when you decide that you want to lie about rape, think of someone in the township, who’s life is a day by day survival, whose lives are challenging enough, rapes happen every day and justice is lacking.

Obama's visit to South Africa
What if it was true, just think for a moment, and think about Illuminate, think about all those who were and are still suspected that they are   part of illuminate (which I heard that it is the driven force of the world).

We all know how dominant America is all over the world. We were just talking at work, some of my colleagues believe that former president Nelson Mandela has been dead quite some time now, which is on the 13th of June according to them, but the truth has been hidden from us all along.

From the dialogue I had with my colleagues, I couldn’t help but to question the motives of the United States president visit to South Africa. Why now? A very close friend of mine believes that, Obama is here to collect Mandela’s soul, so that South Africa will be more like America.

What is the meaning of “more like America”?

Most of the influential people that we love and idolise are coming from there; even most of the movies that we watch are created there. It has been in almost every young person mouth that celebrities success didn’t come over night, it has been said that there are devil powers that are helping them to be successful, to brainwash ‘us’, movie and music lovers to want to be like them, or to be motivated to think in a certain way.

I don’t know, you decide, but if Obama is really here to take our Tatas spirit, where is South Africa going, could it turn to be more malicious than it is

Lady gaga is one of my favourite musician, while she was here is South Africa in Johannesburg, she did some unexpected things that normally people wouldn’t do, according to my friend who was there.

Was she here to open the road for others and now the KING is here to complete the mission.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Obama, he is a role model to so many people, and his wife Mitchelle is my role model, I mean the way they do things, family values, and the way they love each other. When they travel, they travel together as a family most of the times, which shows that they are deeply in love, and that is inspiring to us.   But that doesn’t automatically mean that I agree with everything that he does.

Mandy Rossouw- City Press international

Career and success of Mandy Rossouw who works for popular news top dogs CITY PRESS and MEDIA 24 so i wrote an article about her, and how she got into the top. a wrote it in a tertiary way, because it was my news writting assignment. “The profession of journalism comes under great scrutiny from the public and government. This creates challenges for us as journalists,” says Mandy Rossouw. Mandy’s “insatiable curiosity” is what initially drove her to study ABA degree in English, Philosophy and Political science and a BPhil (Honours) in Journalism at the University of Stellenbosch. Originally she thought she would study advertising. She soon realized that to do that she needed a degree and she felt that journalism would help her prepare for her advertising career. While at university she received a Media24 scholarship which was attached to a work contract after her studies and that is when the journalism fire began to burn. Her first article was to cover a press conference of Zanu-PF who werlaunching their South African leg in Johannesburg. “Best [interviews] were with top politicians; Jacob Zuma, British foreign minister David Milliband etc. Worst? An interview with Pravin Gordhan, he was defensive and upset my colleague.” Mandy believes that every politician she has written about hates her guts, but South Africa is one of the greatest countries so, she says, “they get over it quite quickly when they realise I really have no hidden agenda and am just trying to do my work as best I can.” Journalism is a the fruit of Mandy’s natural curiousity and passion for discovery but the wine-enthusiast in her enjoys the local Wild Coast and the Eastern Capeand loves to travel to Paris and the French winelands. “The need to know, to find out and understand the world” is what keeps Mandy going, along with the great positive influence of her role model and editor Ferial Haffajee. “The challenges faced by female journalists include that they are always seen as less capable than men by some as well as easier to dismiss. You have to prove yourself before you get taken seriously,” said Mandy. “All my jobs have provided me with skills, insight and great opportunities, but mostly have given me the chance to work with the best in the business,” she said. “I think it is profession that stands on the brink of either greatness or failure, and I think journalists of today must prepare for a much tougher working environment tomorrow.” Written by Ncumisa Trains Tickects Tickets are increasing once again From the first of April, the tickets are increasing, I find it really ridiculous because trains are not in a good condition, and they are always>.What is the use of paying more on the trains while you have to always have have extra cash so that if the trains are cancelled you'll be able to take a taxie to school or work. Our Trains in Stellenbosch are never on time, and they always delay, so it is advised to always have an extra money, incase of imagencey (that is everyday if i may say). Yesterday we were given new prices, we used to pay R135 from Stellenbosch to Cape Town (monthly), and now we will pay R216, what an increase #JUST SAYING!!! Tha sucks!!! Its not Like metro is gonna increase the security inside the trains, it will be the same, people will still be unsafe. I just wish they will be on time now that fees have gone from normal to extra normanl, and the security will be tight... I remember the other day... the other dude was preaching in the train, he said even metro is crossing fingers when the trains stop because they are not in a good condition i laughed, but when the train burned in Khayelitsha (suddenly burned, no one burn them) i thought of that guy who was preaching, and i knew that we are not safe at all here.
