South African Street

What South African streets have been up to?
In case you missed it: This is what our country has been up to. Of course we manage to behave during the month Tata Madiba passed and that was a relief. Even though it wasn’t entirely bitter sweet with the interpreter but at least everyone felt a peace that was overwhelmed by the difficult news.
I’m sure everybody knows that by now because it was on our TV screen from the time the news came till the day he was buried, so it was really on our faces, that’s impossible to forget. May his soul rest in peace
-Politics featuring DA wanting to march at Luthuli House
-Western Cape ANC wanting to march at Zille and De lille’s house
-DA wanting to swallow AGANG
-DA and AGANG merging
-DAGANG break-up
-Ramphele changed her mind and changes it again
(That’s my favorite topic…)
Personally, I really respect Ramphele for both decisions. Firstly she was willing to merge with DA so that the country can be where everyone expected to be after 1994. Secondly, she realized that her party wasn't happy about her decision, and she changed her mind again, of course you have to respect people like that. Who else would ruin his or her career and reputation for the benefit of the country?

I know most people thinks she dented by her decisions, but I do not think that this is the case, I think she has shown us that she can make tough decisions. I remember doing vox pox after her decision, and the different comments from people. Surprisingly most people I talked to think that she made a good move for the country.

The rising of the villain Malema
We all know he said some brainless things in the past. He didn't make life easier for those he hated and he proclaims war for those he loved.
But his leadership seemed to be inspiring lot of people. I am not going to comment much about that, but he has risen. Thank goodness he is not going to kill anyone this time. Hopefully he is going to kill poverty, not only for Zuma’s neighbour, who they build a house for, but to everyone when he gets a chance.
I remember reading a story about Limpompo widow, whose husband was shot by police on his way to see Malema; she said all her husband wanted was to see Malema. You can just imagine how many people feel like that, especially in the rural areas. People do believe that he might be the change they were waiting for.
It seems we are going to have fun election after all. It’s pretty boring when we are looking at few parties. Now that there are lot of parties involve, that means we are looking at a greater South Africa. The reason for that is: the party that gets a shot, it will use it so to keep all the promises. That means we will hardly see protests because they will be service delivery, people will be heard. That’s my opinion.

In case you missed it, now you've heard it.

That’s life in the South African street
