The fisherman who claims he drifted for 13 months in Pacific is speedily recovering in Hospital.
Jose Salvador Alvarenga arrived in a heavily damaged boat on a remote coral atoll in the Marshall Islands.
ALVARENGA is claiming that he had been living off fish and turtles he had caught and relying on rainwater, and sometimes his own urine, to drink.
Authorities are STILL trying to determine if his story IS true.
But EXPECTS SAYS THE Conditions in the Pacific make the timeline of Alvarenga's journey believable.
Mexican fishermen made a similar drift journey in 2006 that lasted nine
months.
